  1. I would use the vector packs in projects I put together for school and work. :)

  2. Ahh yes, Vectorlicious!

Well I am a vinyl artist, so vectors are not only a good artistic solutions for my digital designs, they are what i use to cut my vinyl to make my signs! High quality vector packs would be extreamly useful for my roll as master sign maker :) Seriously! (check the site (excuse its going through a little template update – but the gallery works :D)

Also I would be making sexy digital media with them too :)

  3. Would use them for creating cool graphics of course! ;) Mostly for Website design.

  4. In print and web media work, your vector packs will add a lot of punch. This time of year (and currently as a running theme in my work) the skulls would add a lot of punch. Additionally, the scroll pack would be very useful in my work for the local Renaissance faire.

    Thanks for the contest.

  5. nice style, would be nice for designing a new tattoo!!

  6. I would totally use these in my school work and at my actual job. The building one would help a bunch since I always try to make my own. And the wings are beautiful. Very nice.

  7. Free? Alright!! Hope I win!

  8. if you choose me to be a recipient of a vector pack, i will vow to make microsoft discontinue its production and distribution of internet explorer and promote firefox in its place. thank you

  9. Ryan J. George

I would use the vectors as background images for the brochures I design for my clients.

  10. I’ll comment to that!

  11. I will use the vector goodies, in new and novel ways, to spur my website redesign. It has been three years since my last website update, padre! ;)

  12. I would use it for personal projects, I love these!

  13. I want some free vector packs! I would use them for band t-shirts/myspace layouts/banners, etc. and also just to create personal work for my own enjoyment and experience.

    Thanks!

  14. Being a future graphic design minor (in the next few semesters), I would use these vectors to totally rock my assignments. Plus, t-shirt designing is one of my favorite hobbies and I’m always looking for some vectors to work with. These would be super helpful to a low-budge college student like me!

  15. Man, I would love to have these!!

  16. Wow, these would be amazing to use with my new web design company along with a t-shirt company that I am hoping to start up in the near future. Between the skull packs, the wings, scrolls, floral, and grunge packs… it would be the ultimate way to start a hip new clothing line for the younger generation who wants to steer clear from the Hannah Montana type of stuff out there.

  17. I’m in the process of making the jump from employee to self employed and have a few upcoming projects. My next one is for a Pro Westling promotion in my city (SWA Wrestling – http://www.swawrestling.com) and I can already see uses for the wings (new logo), scrolls (event flyers and title holder images), grunges and skulls (general textures and overall feel of the site).

I’ve also got a few musician/band jobs lined up where the floral and buildings packs will be useful.

These packs will save me a lot of time and make my work that much more polished. All the better for getting new clients with an improved portfolio.

  18. I would use them for my small personal projects and incorporate those into my own style like adding them into the photos I take and produce cool pieces. :D

  19. i would use them to create video projects, broadcast design, animations, and webdesign

  20. I started a web design company back in the summer, and having a nice wide variety of vectors at hand would be dam nice!

  21. Vector packs are always a nice way to add a little spice to a design, having a good selection to choose from is always nice. Right now I would use them for affiliate site ads I am currently making.

  22. Carrie Drazin

Wow, those scrolls would be unbelievable to win! I am not a great graphic artist and I need all the help I can get! Thanks for the possibility. . .

  23. I will use the brushes to complete my line of banana hammock designs, for personal use of course.

  24. I do design work for a few bands and night clubs, these vectors are perfect for the type of work that I do and would use them to pump out some killer flyers and tshirts.

  25. I would use the vector packs in flash animations as well as other material for a web site I am wanting to do for bikers and people that like the dark side of things. Designious has some vector packs that have skulls and wings and they look fantastic and would fit the site very well.

  26. What wouldnt I use them for? But mostly Id use them to add that “little something extra” to my designs that need it.

  27. I would use them for various print and web projects I have going. I have recently renewed my love for Adobe Illustrator and would use them any chance I got. Oh yea, I would use them in my personal illustrations for backgrounds on my characters.

  28. I’d use the vector packs to impress girls. I’m not gonna lie.

  29. It would be a great time saver to use these vectors in my t-shirt designs. More importantly, it would be inspiring to analyze professional vectors to see how I can improve my own.

  30. Duomo Arigato!

  31. I’m also making the transition from full-time employment to freelancing, and resources like these are so helpful to me, both for the instruction and the time they save me in design. I’d use some on my website, and dissect the rest to see how they were made. Just one more reason everyone loves you, Bittbox. :)

    email annstorer@gmail.com

  32. I’ll never not use them!

  33. I will use the packs for good; not evil…well, maybe a little bit of evil. ;)

  34. Work maybe, more importantly to study. I’m just getting into drawing vectors and I like to study highly professional vectors to see how they are constructed.

  35. I would use these to create graphics for school and work print and web projects.

  36. I would use the skull set to create a unique design for my personal blog – something very different from my corporate site.

  37. I love seamless patterns 1 and I would use it in my digital design work.

  38. I dare say I would use them for some new mograph ideas I’ve got kicking around…

  39. How would I use them? How wouldn’t I use them! I’m a digi scrapper and designer so there is one way. I also dabble a bit in blog design and love to make postcards and posters… I am just learning illustrator and lapping up all the info and goodies I can, your blog is always top of my list, so thanks!

  40. Oh, please don’t make me decide now what to do if I win… I’d let the inspiration flow once I got to choose a vector pack!! :-)

  41. Grunges…. can never get enough of them.

  42. I’m a professional graphic artist and do freelance on the side. I would use these packs to enhance my work. They’re really great! I’ve used some in the past from time to time.

  43. I’ll use to create the patterns in my room and the bathroom, my wife is crazy about this

  44. Seeing if I can comment in FF3 on Mac… Just like you asked! :-)

  45. They would most likely be utilized in some fashion in my illustration work or most likely in one of my twisted texture experiments.

  46. prolly use these to create a rad bachelors party invite for my good friend.

  47. Amazing vector packs! I’d use them to improve my art and design business and projects !

  48. Excellent post! Very useful packs. Would love to use them.

  49. I’d use them to liven up the boring websites I design.

  50. Amazing vector packs. Great for use in my web design and graphic arts.

  51. hope to enhance my work.

  52. I would use them so i can save the Earth. it will take less time for me to create designs by having premade vectors so less energy is consumed hence saving the Earth!

  53. I would use the vectors as a starting point for t-shirt graphics and basically just to play around with and see what I can produce. It’s always nice to add some new vectors to the collection.

  54. I am a design rookie. I just started learning Illustrator and Photoshop about 3 weeks ago. I am also an OkState Alum.

  55. Thanks for the opportunity! I would incorporate some of these vectors into my digital scrapbook paper designs if given the chance.

  56. I would use the vector packs to design my son’s birthday invitations.

  57. I would make awesome free website templates to give to the world.

    I might sell a couple too :P

  58. Most likely they would be used for guerilla creations (as in warfare, not simian). Also, loved and cared for in a warm home.

  59. my use would probably in creating web templates, or just making some art for the fun of it. :)

  60. I would use them for only good. Not evil. They will be very useful in my efforts to thwart crime and overthrow the vicious “Master of Raster Disaster”.

  61. I would use these vectors to win friends and influence people.

  62. I will use it to web design and magazine design… And for my own art ;)

  63. I’ll use the vectors to spice up my lead images in forthcoming theme designs. Could really use a nice vector pack to create some powerful leads on the fly!

  64. I would love to use these to make stencils for some spray paint/mixed media pieces I was planning

  65. YAY, error fixed (I hope. :D)

Aside from using them in various ways in digital painting (vectors are awesome when you need to create repeating patterns for wall paper that can be scaled into perspective, or even to make interesting textured brushes for painting with), I also use them an awful lot in various related graphic design projects: book covers most often, but also sometimes for invitations, promotional posters, and other marketing materials.

  66. I would use these vector packs to spice up my portfolio, and save time, as I apply to art schools.

  67. Many of the clients i do work for are unsigned bands on a cheap budget, vector packs help me keep designs reasonably priced but at the same time at a high quality so the bands can have more money for other expenses.

  68. The building pack looks great. It would save me a lot of time when creating ads and such that feature cityscapes.
    thanks!

  69. I’d layer them in cool colors.
Even if I don’t win, I may buy some — they’re well priced.
I ♥ the flower pack. Or maybe the wings…

  70. FF3 on Mac looks likes its working!

I’d use these packs to add some additional punch to my flyer and web designs

  71. I’ll win one of these eventually.

  72. Use an iPhone to post ;-) I would give the pack to my daughter !

  73. Sherwin Techico

Would probably use it for some print/shirt designs. Good luck everyone!

  74. Fatal Frame

I would use them for creating shirts.

  75. I’d use them in CD designs, flyers, websites, and everything else design wise that my record label and booking company.

And then they’d most likely get used in some of the freelance work I do.

  76. I will hug them and squeeze them and love them and pat them and call them George

  77. I do a ton, and I mean a TON of freelance work ranging from logo and identity work to CD jackets and magazine layouts. With the economy they way it is today in the US, my clients aren’t always cool with shelling out the extra cash for me to purchase a custom vector and/or stock photo to add to their job, but if I already had the vectors on hand, I could wow them even more than normal, and at no extra cost to them! thanks!

  78. As I was randomly scrolling through the comments I saw “Ben Gibbard” and thought, “Whatever, Mr. Death Cab Postal Service guy, you’re basically a bazillionaire. Why don’t you just go and buy your own?” but then I looked closer and realized that it said “Ben Goddard.”

Anyway, I’d use them when I’m feeling lazy and don’t want to hand draw or trace something on my own.

    How’s that for honest?

  79. i would make a great wall decoration at my living room =)

  80. I’d decide how best to use them based on what style/project they’d best suit.

  81. I would probably use the vectors to design my portfolio. I am a hungry artist hunting for a job.

  82. very nice
    thanks for you

  83. I will use the vector packs to my designs look ever more professional and sexy. :)

    - Cal

  84. If I won the scrolls maybe I’d finally sit down and design that middleaged-knight-style logo that I’ve always dreamt of

  85. Excellent artwork that I would use in website and user interface designs.

  86. I am a graphic artist myself, and these are beautiful. First off, I’ll try to learn from these vectors and improve my own skills, and when I fail, i’ll have these beautiful vectors to fall back on and use in tshirt and CD cover design.

  95. I’m a prof graphic artist that designs t-shirts on a daily basis. Having an extensive library of vectors on hand is an extremely useful and invaluable tool when time becomes an issue when dealing with clients. Seeing new and different vector packs inspires me to draw some of my own vectors and build my skills/style as a designer.

  96. I’d overlay them on top of my photography so I can impress people I don’t really care for.

  97. I would use these in my digital scrapbook items, and web design.

  98. I’m late again, damnit! No chance for me I’m sure… Now I know how Charlie Brown must have felt when all he got was a chunk of coal. :-|

Those skulls are really bad-ass lookin’ and the wings are really drop-dead “beautious!” The florals are just kickin’ cool and elegant, and the scrolls and buildings are definitely really handy. I bet I might even be able to create some decent artwork if I got my hands on some of that grunge too!

  99. I would use this for my band t-shirts or maybe some sweet logos

  100. I would use them to take over the world.

  101. I love scrapbooking and could use this stuff on my pages. I should also learn to work with Illustrator ;-)

  102. I would use these on tshirt designs and anything else I think they would go good with, which is everything.

  103. I will use them to compose wallpapers/backgrounds

  104. I would use them in my work at a museum. They would help me keep my secret that I really don’t know what I’m doing…

  115. I would use them for work. I do vinyl and custom 3D signs. I also just started a screen printing business and i would use them for T-shirts

  116. I could leave them taking up space on my HDD, but more likely will use them to make pretty images that make money that I use to live and have fun.

  117. I’ll use these on websites I design.

Not to mention the inspirational aspect to owning a series like this is incredible.

  177. i. m. alarmed

I’m surprised no one has mentioned that designious.com has obviously copied GoMedia’s Arsenal design http://gomedia.us/arsenal/

I wonder if GoMedia are aware of this. Perhaps they aren’t concerned as it’s clear that the designious.com packs aren’t of the same quality.

Sorry, to be negative, I’m just surprised that blatant style plagerism is being ignored here.

  178. Im reading this feed for some time an i love the vector graphics you share with us all the time. Thanks for that!

  198. I would use vectors primarily as an incentive for the less fortunate to overcome their odds and settle the score with reality. This I hope to accomplish by granting them the choice of vector application as they through education and responsibility will become more productive members of our society, and to do this I will need software to learn and later teach.

  199. i’d use the scrolls to get one tattooed

Tools like vector packs, but they shouldn’t be used to create the essential design. They should be incorporated into an existing idea, or maybe they could be used to branch an idea off of. I laugh when I see something and can instantly tell they have downloaded that off the internet or is stock. Designers should make each design their own. Thank you BittBox for giving me some of those resources to aid in developing professional designs.

  492. Shawn Cantrell

Coming this December I am going to graduate with a BS in Commercial Art. I am currently developing my portfolio and website. I am trying to prepare myself for a future in the graphic arts. I do not simply want to end up designing posters and cd covers for the rest of my life (those things are fun, but what is the point?). I want to be a graphic artist that creates works with a purpose. I want to be involved in social causes. Currently I am working on a brochure series for some missionaries in Thailand. I also am designing a calendar for a local family services organization. I would use the vector packs to enhance the 6 projects I am working on plus whatever the future has to hold. Please pick me, so that I can be better equipped to help others.

  493. I would use the skull and wings package to redesign the political logos of our time (elephant and donkey) to better illustrate the reality of our political situation thus scaring our enemies into turning in Osama bin Laden. Then I would use the banners to announce victory to the world all the while using the grunge splatters, floral vectors and buildings to illustrate the beauty of victory. Just a thought.

  494. I would use the vector packs for several things but mostly for fliers I make to promote local bands.

  495. I luv me some free stuff

  496. Having these vector packs at my disposal will greatly increase my productivity. I won’t have to search endlessly for just the right graphic; it’ll be at my fingertips instead!

  497. Steve Coleti

  498. Awesome, contest, easy to enter!

I would use the vector pack for first and foremost, school. I’m an aspiring Graphic Designer finding and struggling my way through the process and these packs are beautiful, and would help me seamlessly in my educational exploration.

Secondly, for inspiration, I FEED on inspiration, I see it in novels, I see it in tiles, the clouds, stitching, magazines, posters, what better way to inspire myself then USE the stuff that I actually consider inspiration.

  499. YEAH people working hard at those places supplying the world with vectors!

  500. I’ll use them to create kick ass design solutions for my client as well as beautiful pieces of framed art that I make for my friends. Oh and also maybe print a few tshirts for myself. :)
