Free Vector Glass Orbs
I was thinking to myself that this probably should have been one of my first posts, so I quickly made some glass orbs for you. What kind of Illustrator blog would this be without a free glass orb download? I guess it completely slipped my mind and I apologize, but I’m serious when I say that ANYONE can easily make these on their own in Illustrator. No clipping masks, just 4 shapes, 1 drop shadow, 1 feather, and 1 transparency mask. If you don’t know what a transparency mask is, read this post on how to create a vector glass button in Illustrator, with detailed instructions. AI (including legacy), EPS, SVG and PNG formats available in the download.

Love the glass orbs. If you take requests, can make larger ones in the future, maybe double in size? They are wonderful. I could not make those on my own, so I am grateful to your sharing them. Thanks again.

Here is the another technique for bittbox reader;
Step1- Make two circle that have different fill color(Make sure that they are without stroke)-one of big other one small-by using aling tool. Align them vertically
Step 2- Object> Blend (Alt +Ctrl+ B) After Blending these two objects;
Step 3- Make an ellipse with fill colour default gradient, Angle “-90 Degree”;Align this ellipse to blended object vertically-
Step 4- Double click to Color picker in order to change of gradient CMYK; C=100 % M=100 % Y=100 % K=100
Step 5- Finally bring Transparency from Normal mode to Screen mode, (If you wish, you can change the ratio of Transparency 100 % to lower range like 50 %)

How do you get them (each orb) separate? I ungrouped them, but then I guess at what pieces I have, then I don’t have each piece…and I ARRRRRRRGH! I thought I could put them in styles–but no. What’s the trick here?
