Free Texture Tuesday: Light Grunge II
A while back I posted the first set of light grunge textures and they were a pretty big hit, so here’s a follow up set to the original. I have to send out a quick thanks to my friend Callum Chapman for providing some of the textures I used to create this set. Hope you guys find them useful!

Nice! These will definitely be useful for sure for some upcoming projects. Bookmarked!
Thanks! The light grunge feel reminds me of Michelangelo drawings. You never know when you might need something like that.
very nice. thought this week might get skipped.
looks like they can be very useful.
thank you

They look fine, thanks for sharing…
awesome job…didn’t expect anything less
Thank you. I will definitely put these to good use.
Fabulous! Thanks very much.
These are beautiful! I love the colors and texture, thank you! :D
hi nice textures – btw why do people always post parts of the post in their comments ?
Muy buen blog de diseño! great blog! thanks from Argentina.
Okay, I give up. I don’t see a “click to download” button anywhere. I searched the site and checked the FAQs… what am I missing?
Fantastic and extremely generous and helpful site, btw!
Oh I love them, thanks a lot!
A suggestion: It would be great if you put “bittbox” into the file names. Because I mix all textures I download but want to be able to give proper credits later… Might be easier for all of us to handle them if not every one has to rename it after downloading… Thanks!
@kib: Klick onto the textures, then within flickr of the thumb nails and there at the loupe.
“@kib: Klick onto the textures, then within flickr of the thumb nails and there at the loupe”
Thanks, Bee.
I see thumbnails on flickr but not the high-res versions. What’s the “loupe”? Don’t see that on flickr… :(
i love the textures. but why do i have to download them all seperate at flikr? this sucks :(
Thank you a lot!
I can’t seem to find the high-res versions? Any hints?
Thanks,
Kate
Hm I thought it’s called loupe…
> Click onto thumbnail > it gets bigger, about 500 px.
> directly above the upper left corner of the picture there’s this “loupe” (or however it’s called). Just click there to make it even bigger.
Oh, I get it now! :)
It says “All Sizes”, of course, but I didn’t make the connection. I figured I was missing something simple. Thanks for the help, Bee. Much appreciated.
And you are right about it being a “loupe”, although we usually use that word for a slightly different tool (that photographers and jewelers use). When it is a long handle attached to a lens I would use the term “magnifying glass”. It sounds a bit awkward (and old) but that’s the most common word for it, I think.
Thanks again!
