Free Texture Tuesday: Grunge Music
…and I’m not talking about Kurt Cobain. I’ve seen textures similar to these on deviantArt in the past and always wanted to give it a try, so here are the fruits of my labor. By the way, the song in the textures is Claude Debussy’s “La Mer” in case you were wondering. I have to give a shout out to Andreas Mischke who helped me find the public domain sheet music I used. Enjoy!

Again, thank you, Caleb. You really captured the feel of an aged musical manuscript page. My favorite: texture_121. I also like the reversed one, with white notation. It really looks like the notes are rendered in white ink.
