Free Texture Tuesday: Grunge

For this weeks textures I tried something new: mixing and layering several individual textures together in Photoshop to achieve a certain feel. It’s something I’ve tried previously in a project called Nebulae Grunge, and I’m pretty happy with the results, what do you guys think? Next week I’ll get back to filling requests though, so don’t worry ;)

    I love ‘em – These are better than the grunge textures I have on my purchased Texture CD library.

    I think a post on how to make good grunge textures would be a good read; things like layer blends used, opacity maps etc. What do you think?
