Free Texture Tuesday: Colored Dark Grunge

Each one of these textures was made by combining 6-10 textures in different layers in Photoshop, along with some color overlays. I consider them to be some of the best examples of grunge textures that I’ve ever made, I hope you think the same! In the next few weeks I’m going to try and return to my roots and start shooting more photographic textures, so keep your eyes peeled for those. Enjoy!

    msmack, I was confused, also, until someone guided me through it. There is no one-click DL button. You have to follow the link to Flickr and browse through them one at a time (Caleb is nice enough to post in small batches, usually). On each image’s page, click All Sizes at the top (small magnifying glass icon), then click on the largest size available and then right-click > Save As. You don’t have to wait for the whole large-size image to load before saving, which improves the work-flow a little. You do, however, have to go back two pages (Alt + Left Arrow) to get to the next image. Hope this helps.

    *The largest size is Original Size. Just click on that and you’ll see the blue link change to “Download Original Size”. You can click that before the whole pic loads (to save time).
