Free High-Res Grunge Ink Splatter Brushes

I have another set of High-Res Photoshop Brushes fresh out of the oven for everyone. I was contacted a few days ago by Dominik Lenk over at SquawkDesign.com and he offered up some High Res scans of his for me to convert to brushes. (Thanks Dominik) I have made the brush sets available, and you can head over to SquawkDesign for the source files (jpegs) if you need them. Enjoy the brushes, and don’t forget to post your creations at the BittBox User Showcase on Flickr, if you want to strut your stuff and/or get a little feedback!

Download CS1+

Installation:

1. Download the file and unzip it.

2. Copy the .abr file to your Photoshop/Presets/Brushes folder.

3. In your Photoshop Brushes palette, click on the arrow in the upper right and click on “Load Brushes.”

4. Navigate until you find the file and load it (Photoshop/Presets/Brushes/BB_HiRes_ink.abr )

Note: The next time you restart Photoshop you will not have to load the file, it will be in the list of Brush Libraries.

please dun use mediafire… ur freebies is very very nice…but i here cannot download it via mediafire (u know, in some country internet access is soo out of ur expectation)

Hi!

I can’t get the brushes to work. I’ve tried both CS1 and CS3 and they both come up saying “The file ‘BB_HiRes_ink.abr” is in an unknown format and its styles cannot be imported”.

I’m using CS2 on the PC and I’ve unzipped the file and its in a subfolder within the brushes folder.

Am I doing anything wrong?

Download the CS1 version, and you should be set.

I took interest in these brushes but I can not download them from Mediafire. I get an invalid quickkey error message.

“The quickkey you provided for file download was invalid. This is usually caused because the file is no longer stored on Mediafire. This occurs when the file is removed by the originating user or Mediafire.”

Can you send them to me by email or repost them to mediafire? I would like to have the CS3 version. The link worked for CS1 but that doesn’t work either now.
