Ok, this week I’ve got some cool textures for everyone. I wasn’t quite sure how to name them so I did my best. These are some paper textures with some eroded ornaments on them. They could easily come in handy for some “quick-and-dirty” backgrounds. (You can click on the images and get the full size ones from Flickr)
This week I’ve got some dirty canvas textures for your Photoshopping pleasure. I guess you could call these dirty burlap if you want, but I think you get the point. (You can click on the images and get the full size ones from Flickr)
Today I have some grungy starburst textures for your downloading pleasure. I’m sure starbursts are not an unfamiliar concept to most of you, but I put a little “weathered” feel to these. Hope you enjoy them :)
I’m a day late, but I had trouble writing my own javascript for these textures. I thought I’d change things up a bit and make some vector textures. To generate these textures, I used an Illustrator plugin called Scriptographer. These are 5 vector grunge textures I created using scriptographer and Illustrator. I would share the script, but I’m not done with it yet. I have to figure out how to remove about 1000 empty layers first. Anyway, I like having this ability because I make fonts every once in a while and the ability to generate random shapes and subtract them form the letters will come in handy for making distressed fonts. These can also easily be converted to Photoshop brushes for easy stamping. I hope you guys like them!
This week I’ve got some more retro wallpaper textures for everyone. These are some really old pieces of wallpaper from a friends warehouse. These would be nice to add something extra to an already neat background. (You can click on the images and get the full size ones from Flickr)

I know it’s a little late in the evening, but for this week’s Free Texture Tuesday, I have another grab bag. The fabric texture is actually a scarf that I crocheted myself, believe it or not!
