This weeks free textures were taken at a local park near my house. The weather is finally getting better here in Oklahoma, hence the outdoor textures lately. Hope you guys like them. (You can click on the images and get the full size ones from Flickr)
Sandstone. I found an exposed outcropping of bedrock sandstone near my house and here we go. FTT sandstone. There isn’t much variety in these, but they can easily be converted to brushes or black and white at low opacity to add a little something extra to your design. This week I have some cool mangled roots! These were taken at a park near my house where many of the trees have exposed root systems that I thought would make some nice textures. (You can click on the images and get the full size ones from Flickr)
This week I have some very subtle worn textures. These were requested by Lori, so Lori, if you’re out there, I hope you enjoy them. They were made from a single photograph of a rug at my front door, converted to a brush, then masked using the same image as a brush. Happy Tuesday everyone. I forgot to get my trash to the curb, but I didn’t forget Free Texture Tuesday! These textures are part of a set I made for Advanced Photoshop Magazine a while back. This week, I’ve got some hard drive guts! Yeah, these might not be considered textures in the true sense of the word, but I thought they were cool images to give away. No computers were harmed in the processing of these images. All hard drives were rendered useless before the onset of this weeks FTT.
