Free Hi Resolution Wood Textures

Now that I’m on a new server, and I’m done venting, how about some free stuff. I took the camera for a trip around the neighborhood and captured some wood textures that I hope everyone will enjoy. They’re all 2500px wide, and I tried to get a pretty good variety. Download at the bottom of the page ;)

Free High-Res Photoshop Brushes: Grungy Wings

Believe it or not, but I made these with a sketch pad, a can of spray paint, and a kitchen sponge. It was actually quite fun. I was inspired by a t-shirt I bought recently and decided to churn out a new brush set. The preview doesn’t do them justice because they are so darn wide, but you might notice from the screenshot that there are 5 ‘pairs’ of wings, making the brush total 10. As usual, the brushes are ginormous (2500px). I hope you can put them to good use ;) If you’d like to share your designs, you can always upload them to the BittBox User Showcase Group @ Flickr.

BittBox Brushes Spotted in New Amsterdam Opening Credits on FOX

New Amsterdam is a new show on FOX, and I was watching it the other day and noticed that they used some of my Photoshop brushes during the opening credits. I was doubtful at first, but I did a little investigating, and sure enough, they are my brushes. I thought it was pretty cool to see, of all things, one of my Photoshop brushes on TV. The brushes they used are my High-Res Floral set, I released last summer. More after the jump.

Free Hi-Res Photoshop Brushes: Messy Spraypaint

It’s Photoshop Brush time again, and I’ve got a new set of 10 high res brushes for you. These aren’t traditional spraypaint brushes, so “Messy Spraypaint” is as close as I could get to an accurate name. Most of them are 2500px, and I also included PNGs for anyone not using Photoshop. CS1 & CS3 brushes, PNGs, screenshots after the jump.

24 Free High-Res Textures

I’ve been playing with my camera and I have a bunch of High-Res textures for all of you! All of these images were taken at a friend of mine’s house, an 19th century mansion built for a Catholic Bishop, if I remember right. All the images are 2000 x 1339px @ 240dpi. Download them via Flickr by clicking on the images. You can never have too many textures, right? :)
