VectorStock: Free February Vector

I’ve gotten quite a few emails from people who have missed the Vectorstock Free Vector of the month a time or two, and asked me to email it to them. Well, as much as I wish I could, I’m pretty sure it’s illegal to re-distribute digital media that doesn’t belong to me. So, I’m going to remind everyone each month to go download the free files. This month’s free Vectorstock vector hints at Valentine’s Day. Download it while you can folks. (remember, you have to be registered and logged in to download the free vectors over there)

Font Update: Panhead

I found a great little font here that I want to share with everyone called Panhead, by Billy Argel. Billy is a great font artist, and if you pay attention to his fonts, he includes lots of little hidden gems in his character sets. In this case, some killer swirly curls/floral dingbats. The reason I like them so much is because you can easily “create outlines” (in the Type menu) in Illustrator to convert these dingbats to good old fashioned vectors.

Found Freebie: Vector “Tags”

Man, these are neat. I didn’t know what else to call them except for ‘tags,’ but that’s exactly what they are. These free vectors are available over at Pixlpusher, a young blog, but if he keeps making freebies like this, he should be in all of our RSS subscriptions very soon. Great job, Pixlpusher ;)

Free Vectors: Sunflowers

Many of you probably noticed that the Box has been down for a couple days. Well, my hard drive had to be replaced and it took a lot longer to fix than expected. No worries though, I had plenty of time to make some freebies! In this set you’ll find 3 very detailed sunflower vectors. Hope you like ‘em ;) and lets hope my host’s hardware doesn’t crap-out again anytime soon, huh!
