I am in desperate need of a place to get help not just more tutorials on Photoshop. I am a new user and I can’t get the healiang brushes to work. I get a circle and a + sign and as I move my brush the area under the circle duplicates the area under the + sign. Is there a way to blog for help?

Adobe used to supply a limited number of shortcuts in the form of a cheat sheet, but it wasn’t a complete list, and I don’t think it’s included anymore.

I do indeed create these cheat sheets myself, and I also add several more keys using (almost?) all the remaining free keys (which isn’t too many).

Anyway, I’m glad people find this a useful resource!

Also look at the Window > Arrange menu and try Cascade or Tiling. When you see one you like, assign a keyboard shortcut to it. Tiling is a great way to navgate a busy collection of documents.

Had to post just to tell you…
CTRL+TAB to cycle through files in Photoshop ;)
Works in CorelDRAW too.

It’s so many times I have this question.
Photoshop undo: Ctrl+Z (only one undo) for more undo: Ctrl+Shift+Z
BUT the problem is the Wacom Intuos3 “Express Key” doesn’t accept this command.
How can I do to customize my express key with Ctrl+Shift+Z ??

Command+` works to cycle through local windows in Mac apps. It works in Illustrator, InDesign. The only app i’ve found it doesn’t work in is unfortunately Photoshop. Weird, and annoying.

If you’re on a Mac, you can use Expose, in System Preferences and assign a hotkey to show all windows of the current application. I use F2 :)

Wow, he put a lot of work into those!

Here’s a shortcut question that I’ve always wanted solved… when you have more than one file open in Photoshop, is there a keyboard shortcut that switches between them? Instead of always going up to Window > and selecting the file you want to bring to the front.

Anyone know?
