Compfight Adds “Commercial” Search Filter
Compfight, the very handy Flickr search tool I posted about previously, has just added a new Creative Commons “Commercial” filter to their search. Previously, you had the option to turn the Creative Commons filter On or Off. Now you can search ‘all’ Creative Commons licensed images, or images for ‘commercial’ use. Compfight is not only a fast way to find flickr images, but with this new feature, no more scrolling to the bottom to see that Non-Commercial icon. Talk about a time saver, thanks Compfight :)

Nice! Really quite a time saver. Thanks Bitt.
What I’d like to see in the future is the option to search for wallpaper-sized items. I love me some new wallpapers =D
Compfight really rules! I have always wondered why flickr have done such a wonderful job on adding tags and then they screw up the search itself. Its like building the perfect engine to stuff it in a soviet era car.
Thank for the notice Bitt :-)
Thanks for the heads up on this. I use this site now and then when making ads for the newspaper where I work; so much better than flickr’s own search!
