Clicky looks like a good stats app, but it’s annoying that it calls itself “Web Analytics 2.0″ when it’s really nothing of the sort. There’s a few rudimentary “analytics” features there, but where’s the goal tracking, the custom filters, the user segmenting, and other tools to slice & dice the data? The API sounds like a good idea, but it’s really Web Stats 1.0, which is a shame because I’d really like to see something more focused on the analysis of the data, than the mere reporting of it.

I will have to say the reinvigorate interface is super super nice. And they provide lots of awesome charts and graphs that we all like. :P

Yeah but the Clicky free Basic package supports only up to 3 sites, up to 1,000 average daily page views per site. Limited feature set – which means you have to pay to use those advanced features.

I’m using reinvigorate and I have more than 5 accounts and all of them are free and I get all the information that I need.

I know Clicky is a cool stat engine but it’s really my personal choice to use reinvigorate. :)

Ah come on Dino – does reinvigorate have an API? RSS feeds? Allow you to view individual dates in the past? Allow you to view aggregate data from multiple dates? A customizable dashboard? Widgets? Tracking custom data? Track outbound links? Track downloads? Data export? Feedburner integration?

The answer to all of those questions is “no”. I would hardly call that “all the same features”, let alone more features. Reinvigorate has some things going for it for sure, but there’s just no comparison.

Haven’t any of you guys heard of reinvigorate.net? I checked clicky’s demo and it works and looks like reinvigorate. The only thing is, reinvigorate.net is way better – function and interface. Best of all it’s free. Check it out, http://www.reinvigorate.net. It has all the features of clicky, I meant more features than clicky. And user stats are broken down into details like browser version, screen resolution, basically everything you need to know.

It’s a pity that the userstats are not broken down to the browser versions (the IE6 / 7 fact is realy interesting for me).

Anyone know if the Clicky script requires the link and image text to work, or just the javascripts? I’m really not a fan of those little tag images showing what you use etc. Not that I wouldn’t put a link up to Clicky, but I’d rather have it be a text link…

I played around with the demo and it seems to be exactly what I’m looking for. I just wish they had a newsletter to sign up for upgrade news! I’m subscribed to their blog RSS feed. I’ll let every one know when they upgrade their hardware to include some bigger websites.
I personally can’t wait. (really looking forward to the download tracking for my freebies.)

I signed up a few days ago. The service is pretty awesome. It’s priced so well and the data seems to be placed in logical spots. I hate having to dig for reporting tools like I do in a couple of the paid-for services I’ve signed clients up for.

Looks pretty cool. I’ve been using Reinvigorate (http://www.reinvigorate.net/) and have liked it a lot, will have to check out Clicky.
