So how do you fix it when the stuck on precise bug crops up? It’s NOT caps lock on nor is it the selection in display and cursors, which is on brush size, but all the cursors are shown in precise mode. Restarting PhotoShop or the PC doesn’t fix it.

Photoshop CS2 on XP Pro SP3.

sometimes i see only a part from the brush, for example if my brush is a rectangle,i see only the right side…do you know how can you change that? if you can change it?

Thank you, this is very frustrating. I would just usually go back into preferences and change it to another brush setting in order to get it back, thanks again.

ARE U FRIGGIN SERIOUS. MAN, I’ve been a Photoshop junkie for like 10 years and I NEVER figured this out. I just assumed (which I should never do anymore since I’m always making an ASS and out of U and ME) it was a glitch and never bothered to search “photoshop brush cursor” until now…wow I feel so retarded. But I AM SO THANKFUL!!

GUYS! Brittbox does rock the world. This is true. But this didn’t work for me. I’m having the problem as MQ above (posted Nov 17, 07 at 7:32 am), who said:
“…no matter WHAT i do, it (the brush tip) wont show up… it is NOT because of caps lock, or because of enabling precise cursors. is it b/c of a plugin?? is it some other error?”

Does any one have any ideas? Or has this happened to anyone else?

I was sooooo thrilled to find this answer as my computer at work has not allowed me to see my brush shapes for some time. I zoomed into work, all ready to work on a project and still have the problem. Can anyone give a self-taught newbie any other things to try? And just for the record….your help here rocks!
