  1. awesome. thanks very much.

  2. As a graphic designer who works in a sign shop, where arrows get used on a weekly if not daily basis, this was a sweet tip. I had no idea the line tool in photoshop had those options! I’ll certainly be making use of this one.
    Thanks!

  3. This tool goes back to at least Photoshop 7, before the CS era, and possibly even 6 or 5. I’ve been using it for years and years, and I just upgraded from 7 to CS3 a few months ago.

  4. hmm … photoshop 101

  5. Thx for this tip Jay.
Never had to use it but it seems very useful o/

  6. Where I can download that tool??

  7. THANK YOU! i was trying to figure out how to draw the arrow mouse that didn’t take 5 minutes of the pen tool and coordination crap. this is great! thanks!

  8. Heheh… saw this and was like, “Doesnt every one know this?” guess all my fooling around in there with no goal what-so-ever got me somewhere. :) still, thanks

  9. I’ll be bold and admit that I didn’t realize PS has this option. I’ve been using for years and years and never thought to even check on that- yowsers! I had always just created my own custom arrows- this is much easier. Nice.

  10. I had no idea these options were available in photoshop. Sweet tip. Thanks a mil!

  11. yes, I am already using these shapes in my tutorials..:)

  14. I can’t believe I didn’t know Photoshop had this. This whole time I’ve been creating arrows from scratch when I needed them. Thanks for the tip!
