same as Scott above, can’t get this to work, at least using a dropbox synced folder between a pc and a mac laptop – the files do sync allright, but photoshop on my laptop doesn’t seem to register the preset contents, even when the files are fully synced and I relaunch photoshop.
Would be awesome to get it working.

I’ve been trying to get this to work for a few hours…

I’m wondering how it’s supposed to work:

1. Does the resulted workflow mean you still have to ‘save’ your presets before quiting photoshop. Then when you move the your second computer do you have to ‘load’ the preset

2. Is it an entirely automated workflow? Work on one computer, create a new pattern for example. Move to another sync’d computer and the pattern is already loaded?

If it’s supposed to be like option 2. Then I can’t for the life of me get it to work. I’ve tried sym-links and alias’s… on a MAC.

It seems the default ‘set’ that Photoshop loads isn’t stored in ‘Presets’.

Or am I doing something wrong?

Great article! With more and more people having multiple computers this is such a must have!

We use Windows Live FolderShare (Windows/Mac) to sync. We have had problems in the past with Microsoft Live Mesh. Foldershare is free from http://www.foldershare.com
