That feature is available since apple introduced the “dock” to the system; even in OS 9 exist a control panel that let you do that action.
Anyway, this is a very nice shortcut and what i love of apple is all that shortcut ideas… maybe we even don’t know all of this shortcut secrets…
what i do is to load the brush pack directly in my brushes set within the program and keep that downloaded set of brushes safely!..

Wow… thank you for sharing your useful knowledge on this. I recently got mac and still freak out when I’d have to install/uninstall some stuff because it’s different from PC.(I’m just afraid I’d screw up on it) It’s very nice to know that there are nice people like you, trying to share their wisdom!

Nifty little tip.
I do my brush installs a bit different but I think it keeps everything less congested. Plus when updating to newer versions, it makes transferring brushes a breeze.

I create a folder called “PS brushes” I then make it a shortcut in finder, within the shortcut panel on the left of all finder windows.

I just drag and drop brushes in there as I go, often categorizing them and so forth.

When you go to “load” brushes in photoshop, it will pop up a finder window, and your “PS brushes” folder will be on the far left.

Just as easy, with the added ability to manage your brushes where you like. When I upgraded to cs3 I deleted all of my old cs2files… If you were to do that with the bitbox method wouldnt you loose all your brushes?

The ABR or SHAPES should be in the BRIDGE BROWSER since version 1.x, what the hack are they waiting for???
Long awaited and missed in CS2. And now CS3… huh???
