Thanks for the heads-up on this app - fun! And looking forward to seeing what you are up to!
Not sure why but when trying to access your website through Opera I get the message ‘Already hacked by Magic SEO Toolz’ on a white screen, access to the site appears impossible (I’m using IE7 to get in at the minute). If you need more details get in touch.
i had a similar problem to tim, but i use firefox and it was when i was trying to stop comments from a particular post. i had to suspend all comments from bittbox to stop the emails. let me know what happened.
something has apparently hacked my site. But I can’t find it anywhere, and I’m not seeing the same problems as everyone else. Maybe a fresh re-install is in order.
Thanks for the tips all,
~Bitt
Bittbox I know people think of wordpress as the wholy grail of blogging yet truth be told wordpress is a security nightmare. I highly suggest you change your content management system from wordpress to something more secure.
As for myself, I gave up wordpress around the 2.1 branch and have never looked back.
Good luck bittbox (and i love the site by the way!)
Hey Bittbox,
Found this, might be a clue?
HTML/ADODB.Exploit.Gen [HTML/ADODB.Exploit.Gen]
Perhaps looking this up might give an insight into the nature of the problem. Hope it helps.
Tim
I ran a google on the phrase that appears when using Opera (or Firefox as one other has said) and it came up with ajaxian.com . The cached google entry for that site, from 5th November, has the same blank page with the now infamous phrase that appears as yours. Their site is now working fine so perhaps the webmaster there might be able to give you more insight?
Also, and I’m totally unsure if this is related or not, I found some references to comment spam being able to insert code. I would think this would only affect the page where the comment lives though?!? Might be worth checking your comments.
One more thing. Take a look at line 55 of your code (both browser source and server side source) for erroneous object/script.
Sorry I can’t be more use. Hope you get to the bottom of this.
Tim
I love the interface design of Pixelmator. If only Photoshop would have it plus the ease of use…damn. :-)
This looks really sweet. Is there anything similar to this for Windows?
I’m looking for something simple for my wife to use, and she is not familiar with Macs.
I love the site!
Thanks
it’s cool
