Yes - the EULA/TOS as it stands now is a huge issue. Why should Adobe get perpetual rights to my images?

At least in Germany, the EULA states that you grant Adobe usage rights to the photos you put into the service.

Seems like a major issue to me…

i dont think the idea behind web aps like this is to let all of us apple depraved pc users get a glimps of how to easily highlight and crop photos for facebook. thats what bit torrent is for ;).

on that note, anyone know why this web app stuff is getting developed. is it to save me hardrive space? instant updateing? a scam run by ISPs? or is this the precurser to some web 3.0 scifi world?

Be careful when uploading content to Photoshop Express and publishing galleries, by agreeing to their terms you pretty much give them the irrevocable right to use and sell your images any way they want.

When I first heard of this I was so excited!

Until I found out it can only be used for jpegs. I thought they’d at least have the ability to convert existing psd files to jpeg.

Having Photoshop in it’s name is more than misleading… it’s a lie. Turns out its no different than any of the other sites out there.

This app is so sexy I think I’ll have trouble forcing myself to use the real Photoshop :) I’ll have to start finding excuses as to why I should use a feature-limited, web-based version. Thanks for the heads up!
