what’s all that concealment about?

ever thought of an open source development?
you could make your software “free software”! (you know, like in freedom – not like in free beer).

a decision in favor of free software could boost the development. have a look at the explanations in the link above.

and if you want to sell it, thats no problem – free software can be sold, too.

Apparently the PC version of Font Explorer X is still being developed, so you might have to wait a bit for the stable version to come out. Sorry… The mac version is there, tho… :)

I have Linotype Font Manager X for Mac but they make the same thing for windows. It is AWESOME. It really makes mass font management easy. I can categorize them as much as I want, put ratings, comments, highlights- It’s basically iTunes for fonts. I really recommend it. And best part- it’s FREE. you know what would be really useful: a program that organizes photoshop brushes and vector graphics. the same way bridge organizes program files.

I think you’ve hit the bull’s eye. And if Bitt wants to really do a brush browser for mac there will be a huge and thankful community for this. And because no one of the design oriented mac developers has done this to this day, I think a Non-Disclosure Agreement isn’t neccessary. I would go the other way round and make this project specifically transparent. Maybe this way he can get help or donations from the community.

@dardna – Thanks for that… I’ve been meaning to get a font management thing for ages…

As for stopping it load on boot, you could have probably edited msconfig to stop it loading… You shouldn’t have to stop it like that, but it would have worked anyway :)
