Unless you feel the need to move your desk around a lot in your room, or switch the return to change up the pace, might I suggest you get some zip ties and run all the wires on the inside of the metal bar underneath the desk. I ran mine all down the inside through the return to a surge protector mounted on the wall next to the outlet. Barely notice them at all. Only thing that sucks (and my major complaint with this desk) is that if you want to move the desk around you have to cut all the zip ties and redo your work. But I am anal when it comes to that 5#1T so I don't mind all that much. I have the exact same desk.
