Hey Jay,

Thanks for the amazing work. In regards to the freebies and commercial work, I think you’re getting a lot of questions about the terms of use due to the CC license. The one that is linked-to in your post states Non-Commercial use.

Could you please clear this all up? Thank you. I would love to use your creative work in commercial projects, but am reluctant to do so. Also, do we have to credit you in our creative project? For personal use, I would have no issue. The problem only comes up when it’s a commercial project. Once again, thank you.

Hello. I like your work and your site. This is my first time here and I enjoyed surfing around it and viewing your neat artwork. I would like to create backgrounds using your brushes and give it as a free download on my site. Please let me know if this is alright. As far as I understand the brushes are tools that you provide and we can create our designs and use them as long as the source files are not given.

Thanks so much this stuff – saves a lot of time even when we know how to make something! I wasn’t sure about something and speaking of time – I really truly can’t read all 188 responses to see if someone asked already. Sorry :/

I want to use items in sites I am doing for others, but since I am getting paid for that, is that against your license? I am asking because most sites I see have an option for this, usually a small fee or something. Obviously, I can’t give a link on a client site, you know? OTOH, I’m just starting out and frankly, more fees are not in the plans either…

Can I possibly give a link to things from my own website as credit? So, link to the badges there and then use them in client sites? That would be awesome… but your stuff, your call. I don’t want to rip anyone off or anything.
