<description>This would be helpful, but it&#039;s not working in my illustrator for some reason. When I follow these steps and re-open illustrator, the same old default brushes and swatches are there and in the list beside the ones I used &quot;persistent&quot; on it just has a check mark...am I missing something?</description>

<description>[...] Do ya use Illustrator&#8217;s additional brush palettes, like the calligraphy brushes, artistic media, or others? It&#8217;s kind of a pain to constantly dig &#8216;em outta Illustrator&#8217;s menus, but over at Bittbox there&#8217;s an awesome trick to make your brush life a bit easier. Says Bitt, &#8220;For some reason, the folks at Adobe decided that Illustrator shouldn’t have a &#8220;Preset Manager&#8221; like Photoshop, so&#8230;I’d like to share with you one way I get around a lack-of-a-preset-manager in Illustrator when it comes to brushes.&#8221;See how it&#8217;s done! <description>Heyy guys!! Great news!! GAS, has come up with a unique contest of designing a flag for the world! The designs will be judged by a panel of judges and exhibitted during Fuorisalone (Milan Design Week) in the GAS Superstudio. The best selections will be printed on GAS T-shirts.
The prizes are pretty cool too.The first prize is a weekend getaway at the MotoGP with exclusive access to the paddocks(WOOO HOOO!) plus a voucher of 600 Euros!! There are five prizes in all, with the least winning amount of 250 Euros. So guys hurry.. the deadline is 3rd April!

<description>As usual, you guys are right on!!

As of CS3, there is one other way of doing this. If you have certain brushes, swatches, styles, and other content that you find yourself using regularly, you might want to use an AI file with that content as your starting point.

Mordy covers the use of these Doc Profiles in 2 quite thorough blog posts -
