Illustrator 101: Superfast Spacing with the Blend Tool (Video)
Here’s a quick and dirty way to space objects using Illustartor’s Blend tool. Havent done a video in a while, or an Illy post, so it’s back to the basics this week! Hope you like it :)

awesome tip! I had no idea you could double-click on the tool to bring up the options… I have avoided using the blend tool because I thought you had to go up into the menus to get at its options. thanks.
Nice tip Jay! I like it. You can also use transform again (under right click or option click) and specify the space that way and then apple + d to repeat it over and over. However that puts you in the same boat as align palette and your option is superior because you can change the settings etc. Kudos

you can also use the transform effect, enter the number of copies and the distance, hit ok, done. it even adjusts when you scale the object and have “scale strokes and effects” enabled. but the blend tool has the advantage that you can align them on a any path…(via replace spine)
