Seamless Vector Star Pattern
This is only the second seamless vector pattern I’ve made, so I’m going to keep posting them one at a time. If you aren’t an Illustrator user, you can easily take this pattern into Photoshop and make a brush out of it or use it as a pattern fill for a background. You might see this pattern pop up in some freebies soon, here on BittBox. I thought I would go ahead and release the pattern anyway.

I would be really happy if you could tell me how to do this. I guess it’s just a couple of easy steps, but everything is easy when you know how, and difficult if you don’t. Thanks in advance, and thanks for the pattern…
@Espenhh
1. In Photoshop: Open the seamless_stars.ai file (or EPS). You’ll get some options when you open, just click OK.
2. Go to Image > Trim – and trim “transparent pixels”
3. “Select All” and go to Edit > Define Pattern, name it and hit OK.
4. Make a new layer.
5. Make sure your new layer is selected and go to Edit > Fill.
6. Select “Pattern” from the dropdown menu.
7. You should now see a thumbnail dropdown menu. Use it to find your new pattern and select it.
8. Click OK!
Hope that helps a little :)

I have used some of your “bits” on my site, http://hoppetau.no … Don’t judge me to hard, I am not good at designing, but I become better every day. Please keep up the good work!
Don’t be so hard on yourself, the header looks Great!
Always glad to help.

Wow, pretty cool pattern. As I look over this, I have a feeling that the stars are changing sizes as my eyes move. Cool!
