Free Vectors: Hand-drawn Decorative Ornaments II
I’m back from about a week-long hiatus, and I wanted to kick things back off with some killer freebies. This is another set of “hand-drawn” decorative ornaments. A lot of you seemed to like the first set and I enjoy making them, so I decided to crank out some more. These were hand sketched on pencil/paper then scanned and converted to vectors. They may not look like vectors, but trust me, they are. Available in EPS and SVG, as always. Preview of what’s inside after the jump.

Excellent! these are great!! :) I have a tip regarding these (and everything else I find on the net) if you want to add some dimension.
If you select the object, then select the “Transform Tool” (E), then click and hold one of the corners of your selection, then hold the “cmd” key on Mac, and then move your curser you can add some dimension to you object, and make new variations of your object/illustration! :) It has to be in this order to work, but when you get it - it’s really cool and helpful!! (This works at least in Illustrator CS3 — possibly other versions as well)

I’m new to this. What do I do with the EPS or SVG once I download it? I want to use it in Photoshop or Illustrator. I’ve been able to add brushes before, but I’m not figuring this out I guess.

These look great! My only question is, does anyone know of a way to make vectors produced in Illustrator appear hand-drawn or hand-sketched? I’ve been looking all over for a tutorial, but no luck as of yet, except for one in web designer wall.
why are these not available in .ai? CS3 does not support .eps

I second OSZ’s thoughts? How do you turn hand drawn items into Vector without using the live trace? Do you do something with them in PS first? I would LOVE to know how to do this for some of my own flower drawings…even though I am addicted to your freebies:)
