Something still doesn’t feel right about it. Of the 30,000 entries, the one selected at random turned out to be a great entry in their blog as well. “Oh, SnapVillage, you’re so generous to this seemingly already-successful artist.”

I, too, entered every day and I am curious to see when they’re going to publish the winner. I don’t know what’s taking them so long to do:

select email, rand() from entries order by rand() limit 1;

Seems like they could find a winner pretty easily. Maybe a scam to collect everyone’s personal info?
