I would use the print as a christmas present to my sister. I would blow up a picture of her children.

the cards would become sideshow Pitch Cards. historically in sideshow, they used to give out “pitch cards” in the old tents along with “giant rings” and other take away souvenirs. some of them are still floating around today. I’m starting a new “mature content” shirt design business-thingy – This would be awesome to get some free cards to start with – the canvas would be even more awesome!
The cards would help to visually explain when I am asked “So, what do you do? The answer, News graphic artist, zips over heads like you wouldn’t believe. Now that Web work has become even more of what I do my job definition is even murkier, and showing is always better than telling.
I will use the canvas print for a funeral service, it’d be a very nice memorial piece. I could use the business cards to promote my side business; it’d be nice to give that a kick start. However, I’d prefer the canvas because that’d be a little more useful at the moment.

For some time I have dreamed about printing up business cards with the sheet music for a barbershop tag (example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xTyJjfb21JU ). That way when ever I am killing time with people who read music, which is fairly common as a music major, I can hand out a card to each person, and we can instantly fill the room with soaring harmonies. And to make it even better, the singers can keep the card as a memento, and use it to sing barbershop harmony with other people.
The business cards would go a long way as I try to get my first photography business off the ground with a friend from school. The print would be a great way to show potential clients a sample of what terrific photo work we could offer them.

About a month ago I bought a PC to program (flash) cell phones. A week ago an online friend just finished teaching me to program a very popular phone, for free. And I finally decided to download and install Quickbooks Simple Start. Then right before going to bed, I fire up Net News Wire, and I see this contest for free BUSINESS CARDS!!! it’s gotta be fate! I need this guys!
after a tough year or so of unemployment, I’m finally about to get my business off the ground. the business cards would play a crucial part of my networking, and really make a difference; jotting down numbers and emails on napkins just don’t look too professional…
the canvas I would use for a big print of my lovely girlfriend. see, we are on different continents for the next seven months, and having that lovely portrait of her looking at me every morning would really help to keep my motivation up: “if you don’t try your hardest, I will kick your bloody ass!”, she would say.

I would use the business cards to replace my current ones, which are admittedly a bit shoddy. They’re not /horrible/, but the kind you send through an inkjet printer certainly don’t look as good as professionally printed ones. The canvas I’d use as something pretty to look at. You can never have too many of these.

I would stack the business cards into a castle. Do a cool illustration of Borat singing, “King of the castle,” sitting on the third tier of said business card castle, and send that illustration out as a promotional sample of my illustration work.

I need new business cards, seriously. I’ve been working by recommendation for the past few years, and started to doubt their usefulness. But they really are the ultimate marketing tool, especially for a freelancer / small business.
As for the canvas prints, I’ve been intrigued by these for awhile – the color quality, how the texture translates the image detail… It’d be very cool to give some images a test run.

I would make business cards for my girlfriend who is teaching german and english as a gift.
Next year, I am going to college for architecture, and hope to have a little Graphic Design/Photography business on the side to make money to pay off the pretty hefty bill. These cards would be great in getting my name out in a new school, city, and state where nobody has seen my work before.
