hahahaha, I do that often for some diig, wiki, etc results. I type in the search term then the website after it EX. If I info about Starcraft in wikipedia, all I do is typer ” Starcraft wiki” on Google! :) GO GOOGLE!!!

digg’s search is slow, because it goes through the database and searches for the exact text.Whereas Google has already cached searches and has more powerful servers so it’s faster too.

Digg search is one of the worst parts of Digg.

Had the problem with it myself.
I just dont get why they just cant post a little icon which will give drop down and I can just select the scope of the search…
Digg such great features but it lacks the basics…

Google already had this in their database. Google surfing guide already mention about this. The true go for same, \” white house wikipedia \”. It will search for articles in Wikipedia and show you the results. Try and see…

And you can add “site:digg.com” after your Google query and that will only return results from Digg. I love the way Google handles things like that. I never bother searching for a story on Digg, I just go to good ol’ Google.

You brought up a great point. The search on Digg is not very good. Also the way you can search your dugg stories is not user intuitive. If you go to your profile there should be a big search box there. Instead you have to use the site search which doesn’t check your dugg stories.

I’m still not sure how to search my dugg stories though occassionaly I do see them.
