In this, Part 3 of my Fontlab Studio video series, I will be showing you exactly how to make ligatures. Ligatures are a great way to automatically combine one or more characters into a single glyph, making your font more versatile and feature rich. Ligatures are important because of the way certain letters fit together, and I want to show you how to make your own. Fontlab Studio is a very robust program, and the steps involved in getting ligatures to work, aren't immediately apparent, so I'm going to share what I've learned so far…
