Two weeks ago I posted a set burned paper textures and today it’s time for the other side of the “story”. These are the inside covers of the books I ripped the pages from and burned, I hope you like them! A couple of months back I made a post on my blog called 7 Bubble Textures to Pop Into your Designs, I really got a kick out of making those textures so I thought I’d try another batch here on Bittbox. These bubble textures were shot in our swimming pool, originally I wanted to take my camera under water to shoot some bubbles but it turns out that a plastic baggy is not a very good water proof enclosure. ;) Enjoy!

I can’t think of a better way to start the week than some yummy free vectors, can you? Our friends at The Vector Lab have offered BittBox another exclusive freebie for everyone to enjoy. If you’ve never been to TheVectorLab.com, it’s a site that sells high quality, royalty free vectors on the cheap. (I especially like their engravings. There’s this little bookstore where I live that has a secluded room towards the rear of the building that is packed with old and antique books. I’ll often just go and pull random books from the shelves and carefully inspect them for quality textures. For this set I took a propane torch to the edges of the paper to give the that vintage burned look. Enjoy!

Today I have a set of five different metal textures for you guys. I’m especially fond of the first one here, it’s just one of those textures that I could tell was awesome the first time I saw it on my camera screen. I hope you guys find them useful!
