It’s always nice to see my stuff put to good use. Below is a t-shirt design with some BittBox vectors in it. The shirt is from FfeeClothing.com, a site I’m not familiar with, but I like it already. If you missed these vectors, you can find them here. Thanks Martyn for sending this in :)
I’ve got some cool wings to share with everyone. I took the time to follow this tutorial over at the GoMediaZine Blog and I’d like to share the results with everyone. I know I’ve been on a texture kick recently, but I’m hoping you all don’t mind. These are the textures I created in order to make my most recent set of Photoshop Brushes. I didn’t see a reason to let then collect dust on my hard drive, so I thought I’d share the source files. They look quite different in full color :) You can click on each image to view at Flickr, or download all in a zip at the bottom.
I’ve got another set of killer brushes for everyone. These are, as always, super large brushes. There are 10 in the set, and I also included a zip file with PNGs for non-Photoshop users. I’ll be releasing the actual textures themselves in another post soon. I made these from a combination of watercolor and india ink. Hope you put them to good use :) Preview and download after the jump.
I have to admit … These textures were really fun to make. I went to a little book store over the weekend that you can’t even find on Google Maps, bought a book that is about 50 yrs old, dissected it (literally), and scanned all the parts. It took a while, but I have a very cool free high resolution texture pack for everyone to download. There are 12 textures, all over 3000px. You can see them all individually on flickr by clicking on each image, or download all of them in a zip at the bottom.

This is an incredible free icon set I recently came across and I wanted to make sure no one misses it. While I’m at it, I’d like to apologize for the lack of activity lately. I’m slaving over a complete re-design of BittBox at the moment and I’m neck deep in code and bug fixes, not to mention icon surfing. (Oh, and when BBv4 launches, you can kiss that big Google ad at the top of each post goodbye :) Anyway, for the time being, head on over to the Function site for a killer free icon set. The set includes 128 48 x 48px icons, yummy!
