I’ve got a some killer free stuff this week folks! Up for grabs are 3 copies of the Flash Eff Premium Flash Component from Jumpeye. What is the Flash Eff Component? Only the most kick-ass animation tool you’ll ever need. It runs in CS3 or Higher (because it requires AS 3.0) and you can literally make killer animations like the one below in SECONDS. During the first few weeks of Texture Tuesday I’d like to cover some of the more common textures out there. For this weeks post I decided to shoot a few rust textures. While rust may not be common in all places (I’m talking to you Floridians), where I live it seems like the oxidation of metal moves at warp speed. I guess that just makes for more textures, right?

As many of you know, I’m all about free stuff here at Bittbox. I’d like to bring to your attention Vectorstock.com’s latest re-design, and the addition of a new “Free Vectors” button on the homepage. I’m not entirely sure if the button itself is new, but it’s clearly easier to locate the freebies all in one place. Vectorstock regularly releases free vectors and it’s even better to have them all in one place. As for the re-design itself, you’ll probably agree that its a great improvement on the old site. It’s peppy, responsive, easy to navigate and a new popup preview/zoom script has been added as well. Overall, I say the redesign is a success, especially 1 click access to the freebies! :)
