This week I’ve got some porcelain tile textures. These would be great used as a subtle texture behind other artwork. They aren’t too grungy, but still have some nice texture to them. (You can click on the images and get the full size ones from Flickr)
Ive got some more awesome software up for grabs. My friends at Strata have recently launched some new products that I think you guys (and gals) will love. Strata Design 3D SE and Strata Foto 3D SE. We’re all busy and time is of the essence, but taking 5 minutes per month to visit a couple font foundries can reap some awesome treasures. I’ve tracked down a few of these sites for you guys to get some free fonts. I’m not talking about “Free fonts” either. These are really good fonts, freely available as, what I would call “bait,” to get users to visit. And for me, it’s working.
This week I’ve got a set of stylized riverbank images. I didn’t think the images themselves were all that interesting, so I did a little doctoring to them, but still saved them in RGB mode, so they will work fine dropped into an RGB document. Sorry I’m a day late this week. I got stuck in an airport all day yesterday and didn’t want to spend $45 for internet access. But I had plenty of time to walk around the parking garage and find some textures for you guys. These came off of an electrical box. I’ve got another recently completed premium font, and it’s giveaway time! The character set on this one is huge with over 500+ glyphs covering extended Latin-based languages and even Greek! Here’s a preview of the character set over at MyFonts.com. Be sure to read the rules, and good luck :)
