Announcement: BittBox User Showcase

I have been listening to your requests and one of the most requested items in my queue is a BittBox User Showcase. I would love to have the resources to create one right here on BittBox, but I am just a designer and BB uses a ton of bandwidth already (mostly the high-quality freebies). I thought long and hard, and decided that Flickr was the way to go. Flickr has all of the tools to bring a user showcase to life (including forum-like discussion) and anyone can upload their designs instantly, without getting approval. I encourage all of you to check out the new Flickr Group I created for you as an effort to bring the growing BittBox Community one step closer together. BittBox is simply my hobby design blog (for now), but I must be doing something right because I have been getting an overwhelming sense of a developing community here. I can’t wait to see what you have created! Your turn to teach me somethin!, watch for me in the discussion section. ; )

Font Update: 5 Cool Fonts Not to Miss

I like to keep an eye out for new fonts as often as I can, and If you haven’t seen these 5, they are some of my most recent favorites. All of them are free (2 are demo versions) so have fun, if you need a fresh addition to your font collection. Personally, I have a hard time saying “no” to new fonts and I hope you like these 5 if you haven’t discovered them yet.

VectorVault.com Product Review, Interview with Adam Jarvis, and the Future of Free Vectors Online

I’ve had the opportunity to conduct a product review of the vectors over at VectorVault. To go along with the review, I also had the opportunity to do a small interview with VectorVault’s creator, Adam Jarvis, and I must say that I was both surprised, and totally excited at his responses. Why? It appears that the founder of VectorVault and I have something in common. . . we love to give away freebies! and Adam has some bold plans for the future of free vectors.
